We are a non-profit organization committed to giving a voice to all residents of Chevy Chase DC in matters that affect our community.

We respect our fragile ecological environment, encourage intelligent fact-based community growth and embrace diversity.

CCV’s current goals:

Stop unreasonable upzoning and densification, from Livingston St. NW to Chevy Chase Circle. Support these three principles for the future of Chevy Chase, DC:

  1. Public land is not handed over to developers to build more luxury housing.

  2. Community-driven planning is supported by real, current data and transparent dialog to determine public needs and future growth.

  3. In-scale, sustainable design and development that preserves and protects the environment.

If you agree with these principles, sign our petition.

Fight back on PFAS turf!

DC has signed a contract for replacing natural grass fields on our childrens’ playgrounds with artificial turf. This plastic turf has been banned by the NFL, the state of California and flies in the face of providing safe environments for children in DC.
